Dream Wedding in Tuscany

Bailey and Harrison first met working at Blackpool Pleasure Beach together and got engaged 3 years later, on holiday in the Dominican Republic. They always knew they wanted to have a destination wedding, for the weather and to celebrate with just close friends and family. They had their hearts set on Italy because of the gorgeous landscapes, historic buildings and of course the food!

After visiting several venues, they fell in love with the Abbey which is an amazing place to be civilly married, and the nearby farmhouse could accommodate over 50 guests, with amenities like a restaurant  and not to mention a huge pool!

Bailey and Harrison planned their wedding during the most difficult times when there was uncertainty around Covid and re-scheduling dates. There were times when they felt like giving up, but thankfully a persistent groom convinced his bride and after a 3 year wait (actually 10 years according to Mrs B) their dream came true.

Their July wedding was to quote ‘amazing and hot! We loved how the ceremony wasn’t until later, so we were able to relax in the morning with all our guests by the pool and the food was of course delicious! One of the best decisions we made was going for a more traditional Italian style wedding cake. It was lovely and something different, and everybody loved it!’

After their wedding, Bailey and Harrison had so many people say it was the best week of their lives! Instead of just on one day, they were able to spend time with all our guests and make unforgettable memories over three days! People who had never met became close friends, which would never would have happened if they had got married at home.

Wedding planner

Jayne exceeded our expectations! She has gone above and beyond the whole way, contacting every venue or supplier we had randomly found and providing wonderful recommendations. On the day and over the 3 days she was amazing and was a real part of our day and has been a real part of our lives the past 3 years, if we could do it all again we would.
