When we look back at 2019, each and every Italian wedding was a wonderful experience and memorable for many reasons.

At Casa Collina Events we are proud and honoured to be part of each couple’s special wedding day in Italy and assist in every way possible to ensure everything runs smoothly and to plan on the day.

Sophie and Lewis’s wedding, we can safely say, was their dream come true. They had fallen in love with the island in the lagoon, known as the Island of the Roses, and the fantastic J. W. Marriott hotel. The location for their ceremony was carefully chosen and the stunningly beautiful yet simple white flowers, touched with natural greenery, made a wonderful backdrop for their intimate ceremony and elegant evening reception. The after-dinner party went on inside the church building, with lots of surprises for the groom and their guests.

Sophie and Lewis had worked with us for many months planning their wedding. During that time, their little girl was born and Sophie became the proud owner of a bridal shop of her very own. Sophie had clear ideas of how she wanted her day, probably her only doubt being over choosing her wedding gown. Her wedding planner still remembers messages one evening from Sophie saying she had bought the wrong gown and her heart was set on another! We are happy to say she went back and exchanged her dress and she so did the right thing, the photographs are proof!

How amazing and thrilling it is then that Sophie and Lewis are featured in one of the north’s most popular magazine Wonderful Wirral Weddings.
