How It All Began: From Boston to “Yes”
Some love stories begin in the most unexpected places. For Kylie & Nelson, it all started in a Sheriff’s office in Boston, where work led to friendship, which led—happily—to love.
After four years of dating, Nelson proposed on the golden sands of Jupiter Beach, followed by a surprise family dinner to celebrate. Like many couples, their dream of an Italian wedding was momentarily paused by Covid—but when the time was right, we set out together to bring their vision to life under the Tuscan sun.

Kylie, a florist herself, came into planning brimming with creativity and excitement. From our very first brainstorming chats to regular video calls, this was a couple who dove into the experience with heart and humor (my favorite kind!).
Their venue, Casale di Pasquinelli near Lucca, was chosen for its incredible panoramic views, rave reviews from past couples, and charming Tuscan character with all the modern amenities. Since they couldn’t visit in person, confirming the venue was truly an act of trust and faith, built on careful research—and a little intuition. And as Kylie later said, “It really was the most magical spot.”

The wedding wasn’t just about the ceremony—it was a multi-day celebration of love, laughter, and Italian charm:
The Welcome Pizza Party: The perfect casual kick-off with delicious, authentic pizza.
Rehearsal Dinner in the Olive Grove: Relaxed, intimate, and effortlessly Tuscan.
The Wedding Day: Every detail was picture-perfect, from Kylie’s breathtaking walk down those steps and the aisle to the show-stopping cake cutting under the stars complete with the surprise firework display and their favourite music. I loved co-ordinating that moment, it was spectacular. As Kylie & Nelson put it – “The most magical day of our lives—so fuzzy it felt like it was a dream.” And their guests? Many called it the best wedding they had ever been to—a sentiment that warms every planner’s heart!

The Bride: Kylie wore a stunning Alyssa Kristin gown from Lovely Bride Miami, paired with her grandmother’s pearls for a touch of timeless grace.
The Groom: Nelson looked effortlessly sharp in Calvin Klein.
