COVID-19 Update

COVID-19 and your Wedding or Event Plans in Italy

Here in Italythe country has been at the centre of the world’s attention these past three months, amidst the health crisis and uncertainty of a quickly evolving situation. It has affected many couple’s important plans, and the events & wedding world has been turned upside down. Weddings, events, parties, elopements, special birthday parties, honeymoons, travel and holiday plans have all been affected.

Based in Italy, we have kept up-to-date carefully with all the news and legislation coming into force, with news unfolding each week as the situation evolves.

Our commitment at Casa Collina Events is to be informed of the new regulations and how it affects legalities, from the local authorities for your documentation, to the venue, catering, florists, musicians and everyone else involved in making your special event a reality. We are committed to keeping you informed as much as possible, and so your Wedding Planner will continue to be available 7 days a week, including out of normal office hours for your calls, messages and concerns.

As regulations change, we will ensure all our suppliers are aware of and carry out the new laws in Italy. We will request to know each venue and supplier’s policy regarding Covid-19, to ensure all necessary actions are in place to protect you and your guests.

The country is slowly coming out of a very long lock-down period and Italy will rely on you not ‘giving up on your dream’ to visit, helping the country to get back to normal. Small family run businesses need your support. All the things we love about Italy – from the home-made pasta in the quaint restaurants, the talented musicians and the florists, each and every one need you.

We thank you for your patience during this incredibly difficult time, and we look forward to seeing you in Italy very soon.
